Designed for how the space will actually live.
Good lighting is not only about brightness. It affects comfort, focus, atmosphere, material perception and the way architecture is experienced. Our engineering team combines technical performance with the visual intent of the space.
5 — Lighting Engineers
Good lighting is both felt and measured.
Our five-person lighting engineering team works across residential and commercial requirements, typically handling 80–100 lighting layouts in a month alongside a focused portfolio of full lighting-design assignments. The team studies function, architecture, visual comfort, beam control, fixture placement and technical requirements so the final choice is based on the space — not guesswork.

Engineering Capacity
Five lighting engineers support House of Light customers and projects. In a typical month, the team handles approximately 80–100 lighting layouts alongside around 12 full lighting-design assignments.
Lighting Distribution vs Full Lighting Design
A lighting distribution layout focuses on providing the required amount and spread of light for each area. It considers fixture quantities, spacing and suitable illumination levels so the space is properly lit for its function.
Full lighting design goes further. It considers furniture, architectural details, finishes, focal points, circulation, different activities and the visual hierarchy of the space. Beam angles, layers of light and fixture characteristics are selected to create both performance and atmosphere.

Our Process
We review architectural plans, furniture/interior information, project goals, lifestyle or business use, budget and any technical constraints.
We establish the role of ambient, task, accent and decorative lighting and decide where attention should be created or reduced.
Where required, we study illumination levels, fixture spacing, beam control and mounting conditions.
Products are selected by application, optical performance, dimensions, color quality, control requirements, reliability and budget.
We coordinate relevant lighting information with architectural, interior and MEP requirements to reduce clashes and preserve the intent.
Where House of Light supplies and installs the lighting, the technical conversation continues through site execution and after-sales support.

What We Need to Start
For the most accurate design process, provide the latest architectural drawings in DWG format. HVAC drawings and interior/furniture layouts help coordination. If available, 3D visuals or renders help the team understand the intended style and material direction.
Have drawings ready? Send the project to House of Light and let our lighting team review the brief.
